jiggity-jig

home again,
home again,
jiggity-jig.

that's my little song and dance poem.

so i've made two big no-no's.

1. i haven't written on here since dec. 3 (it's the holiday season...or was, at least, so you know a lot has been going down =)
2. i am now writing on my SWEDISH blog, but i am no longer in sweden! uh-oh.

but, here's the thing... i was really busy in non-computer-access-sih sort of ways in december...you know...traveling, christmas shopping, packing, and the like.

paris was fantastic...a little rainy, but we still had a blast. i think that was the first vacation i've had that was actually relaxing, which i've decided is the way to go. no more stressful visits for me...not if i can help it. we saw all the must-sees (or at least the ones on my list). walked up that famous tower (what's it called again, david?) yust kidding....=). hmm...went to that really big church on christmas eve...you know, the one with that humbacked guy. yeah. it was really crowded. and hot. if have problems with body contact from stranger's, i definitely recommend that you avoid places like big famous churches on holidays. otherwise, dig in! hmm... saw that arch. went to some museums...rodin and louvre (of course, the whole city is really an open-air museum...). saw some other cool stuff. tried toasted chestnuts...suprisingly, they are sweet and moist. ate some yummy vegetarian food ( i think david made friends with this restauranteer...he was indian and made really good indian food...we went there 3 times). found a great bakery that inspired us to make quiches as often as possible. what else? went to this cool bookstore...shakespeare and co. or something like that. went to some really fun restaurants...wait, i already said that (but it is the truth!). i suppose if i were in a more remember-ful mood i would, well, remember other things, but i (unfortunately for you), am not really. so--it was great...fun...relaxing...just like i had hoped it would be!

okay, gotta cut outta here for now, but know this...i will bring this page under some transformation/renovation sometime in the near future so that you can hopefully warm to the idea of it being a continued blog...it's all in the transitions, baby! =)

happy new year!!
